In olden times in Umeå it was a big adventure for people to go to sea. Umeå’s location, far from the world’s oceans, nourished dreams of far-off lands and a desire to discover the unknown.

The Adventure rooms are Stora Hotellet’s most common room category, covering floor space of 15-17 m2. They are guaranteed to be unusual. There is a 140 cm Queen Size bed or 160 cm Twin bed. There are smart storage solutions and seating built into the fittings. The rooms have TV, safe, and bathroom with shower.

Breakfast is included at Gotthards Krog, where you can also enjoy lunch, dinner or snacks at the bar. The restaurant is named after Stora Hotellet’s first owner, Gotthard Zetterberg.
